INSTALLATION
We personally deliver and install all sundials within the United Kingdom.
For overseas installations, detailed instructions are provided and telephone advice is always readily available. Where appropriate, we can also undertake the installation ourselves.
We take considerable care to ensure our dials are securely fastened. The plinth is either cemented, bonded or doweled into position — or a combination of all three.
The dial is fixed to the plinth with a stainless steel bolt hidden by a spacer shroud which is made of the same material as the dial. The head of the bolt is rendered inaccessible by a small cap which is bonded into place once the final alignment has been made.
